Bolton School is one of the most successful and forward thinking Independent Schools in the North West of England. The School caters for boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 years. More than 2,300 pupils benefit from impressive facilities across a campus of 32 acres.

In addition to the academic side of the School, a large Central Services Division supports the School operations in areas such as Catering, Finance, Fundraising, Grounds, ICT, Maintenance, Marketing and Personnel and there is also a trading company, Bolton School Services Limited (BSSL). This includes the coach company and the highly acclaimed Arts Centre and Sports Complex.


Bolton School employs approximately 175 teaching staff and 280 support staff and as a result of the arrangements outlined above, a diverse range of employment opportunities exist within the whole School Foundation and those who work within the organisation are able to combine the experience and pleasure of educating and being around young people with some of the challenges of a business environment.
