| Preferably a time served engineer and ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent, you will be a highly skilled Design Engineer with exceptional 3D CAD and project skills. This will ideally come from the textile industry, however strong candidates from other industry sectors will be considered. This role is challenging and will constantly require a pragmatic approach to work. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will work on a number of urgent projects retro-designing parts for the reconditioning of machinery. As well as being involved in design you will also have experience on the shop floor examining machinery and checking work. The role involves design, detailing and sourcing parts for use on carpet tufting machines and ancillary equipment. Good communication skills and computer literacy required.
