| An excellent opportunity has arisen with an established Blackburn employer for an experienced administrator. Duties will include all aspects of administrative tasks and personnel issues (no previous personnel experience required!) as follows: • Reporting directly to the Office Manager and offering assistance as and when required • Processing weekly paid staffing hours (using Kelio wages program), • Liaising with recruitment agencies to bring in temporary staff; completing timesheets, taking bank details. • Providing induction and manual handling training for new recruits • Taking notes in disciplinary meetings and typing up the relevant paperwork • Sending offer letters/termination letters (standard formats used) • Obtaining information from new recruits to set up contracts i.e. bank details, address details etc • Recording lateness and sickness and updating on personnel records • Matching up delivery notes from suppliers with invoices to forward to accounts department • Ordering all stationary/cleaning and first aid supplies • Any other administrative duties deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the office This is a busy and varied administrative post and the company is looking for someone who is an experienced administrator to take on the demands of this role. Hours of work at 8.30am-5.00pm Monday-Thursday with an early finish on a Friday! Salary on offer is £14,000; will look to offer £15,000 for a sparkling applicant though!
