Job Description:

To work on the manual Horizontal Borer within the machine shop on a variety of castings predominately in SG Iron or Chrome Irons.

The position will involve the setting up of cast components on to the machine table. Castings are predominately made from Cast Iron or Chrome Irons. Experience in setting work true, tool selection and reading of Engineering Drawings is essential.

Operators will be expected to produce product to the specific requirements and to a high quality standard, on a range of components in a variety of different materials.
