Buyer/Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a well established company in Blackburn. Our client is looking for a Buyer/Analyst at a managerial level to join their team and make a difference to the way in which they work.

Our client is looking for someone who is CI-PS Qualified and who has knowledge of the stationary trade. You will have previous experience of buying and will have experience of data analysis - preferably someone who has knowledge of Crystal reports but this is not essential. you will have strong negotiation skills and PC skills with a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Office.

Day-to-day duties will include analysing the company's data base analysing what products need to be ordered, which need to be discontinued and which products the company need to be buying. Your role will also include speaking to suppliers, building up relationships with them and negotiating deals with them on the telephone and face-to-face.
