Job Description

My client is looking for an experienced Manager to run an efficient and effective Care Home, which provides a safe, caring and stimulating environment for service users and their visitors, whilst meeting stringent professional and statutory standards and business performance targets.The purpose built home provides care for the elderly and dementia sufferers.Key responsibilities:- Maintain all records required by the company- Recruitment, retention and development of staff- Ultimate responsibility for the overall services provided to service users- Monitor standards of all staff- Act as a focal point for contact with service users, their relatives and visitors- Provide a safe and health promoting environment- Maintain good relationships with the Registration Authority- Proactive marketing of the home- Maximise income by setting optimum levels of private fees and premiums- Production of an annual business plan- Responsible for purchasing, stock and budgetary control of all consumable itemsThe successful candidate will be a 1st level Registered Nurse with current NMC number and have an NVQ level 4 (or equivalent) in Care for care homes.As well as a basic salary of £35k per annum, the successful candidate can expect achieve a yearly bonus of 20% of annual salary.
