Job Description

BMS Systems Engineer Building Management Systems (Mechanical/Electrical) Blackburn £30,000 - £40,000 DOE Plus Pension Scheme, Death in Service Our client is a leading innovator in efficient energy provision across the UK. By combining new thinking with extensive expertise in the community energy market, they help realise the full potential of progressive energy solutions such as combined heat and power (CHP). An opportunity has now arisen for a BMS Systems Engineer to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for designing control systems for building management systems (BMS) from conceptual design documentation. The projects you will typically work on will include CHP, biomass, steam and gas boilers, and will require good mechanical and electrical skills. As a BMS Systems Engineer your duties will include: * Compiling BMS/Control System detailed designs control philosophies, FDS, instrument schedules, PLC listings * Compiling control system test documentation software benchmark test documentation, FAT, integrated system test * Software development code/control strategy development, graphics development, software programming * Testing LV system FAT, BMS/Control System FAT * Project engineering design To be considered for this position, you must have: * Experience of working with CHP, biomass, steam and gas boilers * Experience of using, designing and implementing Trend Systems *  A mechanical or electrical engineering background * At a minimum, an HNC (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering To apply for the role of BMS Systems Engineer (Building Management Systems), simply send your CV and a covering letter via the button shown.
