Travel Customer Consultant

£13,500

This is a full time permanent position based in a busy call centre environment in Accrington.

Working for a UK leading Travel company, you will be handling inbound calls from existing customers, and dealing with a range of queries.

It is absolutely essential that applicants have got a minimum of 12 months recent and solid customer service experience, which has been gained by working within the travel industry.

A working knowledge of systems such as Amadeus, Worldspan, Sabre or Galileo is also essential.

Applicants will also need to be flexible to work shift patterns between 7am - 11pm, Monday - Sunday, including weekends.

The following skills are essential:

- 12 months minimum customer service experience gained within the Travel Industry

- Professional and friendly telephone manner

- Working system knowledge of Amadeus, Worldspan, Sabre or Galileo

- Excellent customer service skills

- Good basic geography skills and geographic knowledge

- Experience of working to tight deadlines and timescales

- Ability to work well as part of a team
