Our client a large public sector organisation based in Lancashire are currently recruiting a Pensions Officer for a temporary period of 3 months ongoing to join their busy team.
This exciting role will involve a range of duties, including handling and resolving a high volume of pension queries via telephone, email and in person, processing retirements, refunds and transfer requests, as well as being responsible for retirements as a result of incapacity including terminal illness.
Other duties include, being a key member of the Choice Exercise – identifying relevant members and informing them of changes, as part of the ongoing roll out of information and
Liaising with the Pension Agency regarding the Data Cleanse Project and updating pensions online accordingly.
The successful candidate must have excellent system skills, including a good level of Microsoft Excel, excellent communication skills and ideally have previous pensions experience.
You will be joining a lively office, with a friendly hardworking team.
